When the firm was initially established, A.A.D. successfully performed subcontract work for larger firms to build assets and resources to advance to the next level. Slowly but steadily, the company grew to become one of the leading contractors in NYC for various agencies such as the Department of Housing, Preservation and Development (HPD), New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), Department of Design and Construction (DDC), the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC).
A.A.D. Construction Corp. has since renovated more than 3,000 low income and affordable housing apartments for various private developers, not-for-profit community groups and entrepreneurs, with projects ranging in scale from small 3-family residences up to multi-apartment housing complexes featuring more than 400 safe, sustainable units. With diverse experience and its relationships across the industry, A.A.D. has also renovated hospitals, libraries, community centers, governmental office buildings and community religious institutions around the metro region.
